About SCCC Student News

The SCCC Student News is produced by students at Seattle Central Community College.  The students strive to produce relevant, interesting, and accurate reports on the campus issues that affect their lives and the lives of their fellow students.

All news stories on this blog were discovered, reported, written,  edited, and published by students.  This blog constitutes a “designated public forum,” and all content is protected by the First Amendment as it applies to the student press at a public college. The college assumes no liability for this content.

While the students do their best, they are not professionals.  Journalism classes are no longer offered at this school.  If you see factual inaccuracies in their reports, or disagree with their commentary, please use the comment feature to add your voice to the campus news.

Student editors are responsible for publishing the  content on this blog.  Any student at Seattle Central can submit stories, editorials, visual media, or other content for consideration.  Inquire with Jeb Wyman.
